Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our image resizer tool

What image formats are supported?

Our tool supports all major image formats including:

  • JPEG/JPG - Best for photographs
  • PNG - Best for images with transparency
  • GIF - Supported for resizing
  • WebP - Modern format with better compression
  • BMP - Basic bitmap format

Output formats available: PNG, JPEG, and WebP.

What are CodeCanyon's required image dimensions?

CodeCanyon requires specific dimensions for different image types:

  • Item Icon: 80x80 pixels
  • Inline Preview: 590x300 pixels
  • Main Screenshot: 590x460 pixels
  • Additional Screenshots: 1280x720 pixels (recommended)
  • Square Screenshots: 800x800 pixels

Our tool includes presets for all these dimensions to ensure your submissions meet CodeCanyon requirements.

Is my image data secure?

Yes, absolutely! We take security and privacy very seriously:

  • All processing happens locally in your browser - images never leave your computer
  • No server uploads required
  • No image data is stored or collected
  • Automatic cleanup of temporary data
  • Client-side processing only

Your images and data remain 100% private and secure on your device.

How many images can I resize at once?

Our tool supports batch processing with the following capabilities:

  • Unlimited batch processing - No artificial limits
  • Performance optimized for large batches
  • Simultaneous processing for faster results
  • Progress tracking for large batches
  • Memory efficient processing

However, for optimal performance, we recommend processing up to 50 images at once for the best experience. Larger batches may take longer depending on your device specifications.

What's the difference between Contain, Cover, and Stretch?

These are different resizing methods:

  • Contain: Fits the entire image within the target dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio. May add background padding.
  • Cover: Fills the entire target area with the image while maintaining aspect ratio. May crop parts of the image.
  • Stretch: Stretches the image to exactly fit the target dimensions. Does not maintain aspect ratio.

Recommendation: Use "Contain" for item icons, "Cover" for screenshots, and avoid "Stretch" for professional submissions.

How do I download my resized images?

After resizing, you have several download options:

  • Individual Download: Click the download button below each image
  • Batch Download: Use the "Download All as ZIP" button for all images
  • Selective Download: Choose specific images to download

The ZIP download option is recommended for batches as it organizes all your resized images into a single, convenient file.

Note: In a production environment, the ZIP feature would create a compressed archive with proper folder structure.
